This frugal living business is HARD!
I have officially placed us on a tight budget. Very tight. With one in college and one in her senior year you would think I would have done this a long time ago. But no. I chose now to begin living the frugal life.
Let me explain. I have always done things to help save money. Clip coupons, by bulk products, try generics etc. But I have never saved ANY of the $ I was saving by doing this. With the economy like it is now, well, it seems its time to revamp our lifestyle. Not that it is extravagant. You can save upper middle classs or comfortable. But we really are paycheck to paycheck.
So here I am trying all the tips and tricks of living frugaly. Going to all the sites, reading all the blogs and LEARNING! The first thing I would suggest to anyone who wants to start this would be to invest in a copy of "The Complete Tightwad Gazette" The bible of this lifestyle! Wow the plethora of knowledge in this book is amazing.
I plan on sharing my trials and errors along with budgets, shopping expeditions, and all the other things that are included. Stay tuned to se how we do
